Kings player Jabari Parker Announces He Is Corona Positive

Sacramento Kings forward Jabari Parker announced today that he has tested positive for COVID-19 or the corona virus. The Kings swingman, however, said he would stick with his teammates for the “Bubble” game at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

“A few days ago I tested positive for COVID-19 and I immediately isolated myself in Chicago which is where I live,” wrote Parker in a statement provided by the Kings staff.

“I’m making progress on my recovery and feel healthy. “I look forward to joining my teammates in Orlando when we get back on the field to restart the NBA season.”

Parker was the second overall pick in the 2014 draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Unfortunately, the Chicago native has sustained his ACL injury twice which robbed him of athleticism and stunted his development.

However, Parker is still a terrible scorer and Kings can use the scorer from the bench during the “Bubble” match. The Sacramento Kings franchise has the longest playoff drought in the NBA today.

Nonetheless, the only way the Kings can shock the world and reach the postseason is if De’Aaron Fox, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Marvin Bagley III play like the All-Stars in Orlando.

Parker also recorded career average NBA 15.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 280 games with the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks and the Sacramento Kings.
